Toronto Pearson Airport - YYZ app good for
I travel often to Toronto and the airport app very useful. Works pretty good and its complete .
Not sure what all the fuss is about with previous ratings and dark colours etc...looks perfect to me.
App is functional and allows you to add a flight to receive alerts if there is a delay (or if its early).
Very intuitive and simple user interface.
The premium hub/gateway to North America. Please make a map outlining the concourses and include gate numbers.
Some bad moments
Does not even work properly. Tried to search a flight by flight number and said no results found... On the actual website the flight number obviously worked.
After loading the app, all that shows is a limited current weather and a menu. Click on the menu hotspot, and on the left side the menu appears - written in BLACK on a DARK Blue background. Barely legible in good light. Invisible in anything dimmer!! Make the background LIGHT colour so we can read the menu!
I wasted my time downloading this app. What a waste of time. It automatically disappeared off my iPhone and iPad after I’ve downloaded it. I tired again but the app store say it is downloaded.
I use many airport apps because I travel a lot.
This one has to be the worst. Forgetting the terrible user interface and total lack of features, it failed in the one task I tried it for - notifying me about a delay for an arriving flight I was expecting (I didnt trust the app due to the bad reviews and kept checking GTAAs website anyway).
Dont waste space - just use the mobile site for the airport instead.
Aside from flight statuses and airport alerts, there not much this app offers in the app itself. being redirected to the website on the "maps" tab is a hassle and makes the app a nuisance to use.
Native maps, and lists of restaurants, services and shops built into the app itself would be great.
Additionally UPX schedules and fair prices, and walk-times to gates would be great too.
I love the simplicity of this app. Quick and to the point and the flight tracker is useful. Looking forward to more! Thanks YYZ!
